Part M Compliance

Our team works with you to deliver buildings and places that everyone can use and enjoy. We help you define wayfinding systems that are consistent with universal design principles and consider the broadest range of users.

Signage is designed to comply with Technical Guidance Document M of the Building Regulations 2010 and BS 8300:2018 Design of an accessible and inclusive built environment. We work with you to achieve a shared objective: “to provide adequate aids to communication to ensure people can independently access and use a building and its facilities.”

We can advise on suitable typefaces, anti-glare finishes and optimum colours and materials for visual contrast. Our braille and tactile sign systems are specifically designed to meet accessibility standards and we offer a range of window manifestations to make glass walls safer.
